We had a group of 14 shredders up here for our last day of the season at SWS.  Conditions were EPIC for late March.  Blower powder at higher elevations and soft and buttery everywhere in between.  Even as I type in the last report up here at the lodge,  it’s literally “barfing snow” outside - wow, could we ask for a better day to wrap up on!  We are lucky up here on Meadow Mountain!

Thanks to everyone for the good times, big jumps, little jumps, tomohawks, yard sales, short & long stories, games of crud, and laughs all around!  We wish you a stellar summer and we looking forward to sharing some of our secret stashes with you all next season.

After first meeting Jason in 2005 I started with SWS in 2008.  Originally from Vancouver I started my guiding on the coast. Predominantly teaching avalanche courses.  I have been involved in guiding and instructing full time since 1998. I work for NOLS in the US during the summers in their mountaineering program.  In my free time I can be found riding my bike and traveling around the west climbing and skiing. My wife and I are new owners of an old home in Revelstoke. For me the best part of guiding is getting to participate in my favorite activity and meet great people from all over.
