Group Discount Policy

Selkirk Wilderness Skiing offers a discount of $1800.00 to the person who organizes a group of 12 or 13 skiers. This discount is only available under the following conditions:

1. The group leader is responsible for remitting full payment for 12 skiers less the discount. Both the deposit payment and the final payment must be made in the form of one cheque or by one payment with a Visa or MasterCard.

2. Final payment must be received 16 weeks prior to arrival date. We strongly suggest that the group leader request full payment from his/her group members a few weeks prior to our final payment date.

3. The group leader must handle all correspondence between SWS Ltd. and the members of the group. This includes forwarding information from SWS Ltd.  i.e. sample Release of Liability form and cancellation insurance information.

4. The group leader is responsible for making all members of the group aware of the cancellation insurance requirements. The initial deposit must be insured at the time of payment in order to insure the final payment at a later date.

5. At the time of final payment the group leader must provide SWS Ltd. with names, addresses and phone numbers of the group members.

6. Four weeks prior to the arrival date the group leader must provide SWS Ltd. with the travel plans of each group member. This can be faxed to SWS at (250) 366-4419 or emailed to . Please note: those of the group intending to fly into Castlegar airport must arrive in Castlegar before 1:00 p.m. and departure on the following Saturday should not be booked prior to 11:30 a.m.

7. The group size may be expanded to 13 with the understanding that one skier will use the jump seat in the snowcat and two skiers will share a bunkroom. These skiers will each receive a ?bunkroom? discount of $200.00.

8. In the event of cancellation at the time of final payment the initial deposit for each person cancelling is non-refundable. Also, as the group size becomes less that 12, the discount will be reduced by $300.00 per person, i.e. for a group of 9 the discount would be $900.00. There is no discount, however, for a group of less than 9 persons.

* Prices do NOT include a Federal Goods and Services Tax (GST) on the complete package (5%) or a Provincial Tax on the accommodation portion of the package (8% on accommodation or approximately 1% of the complete package).
