Selkirk Wilderness Skiing Weather Forecast

Today's Forecast
Updated at: 3:30pm PDT - Mar 29th 2012

We had a group of 14 shredders up here for our last day of the season at SWS.  Conditions were EPIC for late March.  Blower powder at higher elevations and soft and buttery everywhere in between.  Even as I type in the last report up here at the lodge,  it’s literally “barfing snow” outside - wow, could we ask for a better day to wrap up on!  We are lucky up here on Meadow Mountain!

Thanks to everyone for the good times, big jumps, little jumps, tomohawks, yard sales, short & long stories, games of crud, and laughs all around!  We wish you a stellar summer and we looking forward to sharing some of our secret stashes with you all next season.

Signing off,

The SWS Guiding Team

Selkirk Sampler

3 days / 3 nights

Sometimes you just can’t get away for as long as you want to, so we decided to help you out by putting together a 3-day and 3-night package at SWS to help satisfy your powder-craving needs. This package includes all of the fabulous offerings of The SWS Original package - giving you a taste of the SWS experience - but also appeals to your short-term sensibilities.

This package starts on Monday and ends Wednesday, or alternatively starts on Wednesday and runs thru Saturday. Because SWS is known nearly as much for its amazing cuisine as it is for it’s unbeatable terrain, this package also includes hearty breakfasts, scrumptious lunches and mouth-watering dinners each day.

Depending on snow conditions, you will normally ski 12,000 to 18,000 vertical feet per day (7 - 10 runs varying in length from 1000 to 4000 vertical feet) with 2 or 3 guides per group of 12. This package also offers deep snow skiing/boarding instruction.

Package A begins Sunday evening with dinner and ends Wednesday after skiing
Package B begins Wednesday evening with dinner and ends Saturday after skiing
