Arrival and Departure

Arrival

Our guests meet Sunday afternoon at our base station in Meadow Creek and are taken to the lodge on the mountain via snowcat (1/2 hour travelling time).

Those flying to Castlegar can take the airport limousine to the Hume Hotel in Nelson (1/2 hour travelling time), but only if the limousine is reserved. Please call our office for assistance. One of our staff will then meet you in Nelson at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Sunday and bring you to Meadow Creek (1 1/2 hours travelling time).

Please note: Transportation from Nelson to Meadow Creek must be arranged in advance. Please give us two weeks notice if you require this service.

Please arrange your flights so that you arrive at Castlegar airport prior to 1:00 p.m. If you choose to arrive on a flight later that 1:00 p.m. and cannot meet our vehicle in Nelson, your options are taxi from Nelson or rental car from Castlegar. Please advise our office as we may be able to assist you. The extra expense, however, is your responsibility.

Departure

Our guests will be returned from the lodge to Meadow Creek by 8:00 a.m. the following Saturday. Those flying out of Castlegar will be transferred to Nelson in time to meet the limousine for Castlegar airport at 11:00 a.m. Please arrange your flights so that your departure time is no earlier than 12:00 noon from Castlegar Airport, and no earlier than 2:30 p.m. from Spokane Airport.

Many of our skiers from the U.S. have found it cost effective to fly to Spokane WA and rent a car for the remainder of the trip to Meadow Creek (5 hours travelling time). The snowcat departs from Meadow Creek to the lodge shortly after 4:30 p.m., so those driving on their own should plan to arrive at Meadow Creek by 4:00 p.m.

US skiers: we advise carrying your passport, or your birth certificate and driver’s license, when travelling to Canada.
