Getting Here

You can drive right to our base station in Meadow Creek. We will then transport you up to our lodge by snowcat. Many of our US guests fly into Spokane WA and then rent a car and drive up to Meadow Creek. Our closest airport is Castlegar BC and can be accessed via Calgary, Alta or Vancouver, B.C. There is a shuttle service from Castlegar Airport to Nelson BC. Reservations are recommended. Pick up can be arranged from Nelson with notice.

Driving Directions:

From Spokane, WA,  to Nelson, BC:

  • Take Hwy 2 north from Spokane
  • Then Hwy 211
  • Keep going north from Hwy 211 to Hwy 20
  • Hwy 20 turns into Hwy 31
  • Your border crossing is just past Metaline Falls on Hwy 31. It is called Nelway.
  • After Nelway the highway turns into Hwy 6
  • Follow Hwy 6 to Nelson, BC

From Nelson, BC to Meadow Creek, BC:

  • Drive north of Nelson (across big orange bridge) on Highway 3A towards Kaslo.
  • Keep going north through Kaslo on Highway 31. You’ll see signs for Meadow Creek.
  • It takes 35-40 minutes to drive from Kaslo to Meadow Creek.

In Meadow Creek:

  • Turn left on Meadow Creek Road (you’ll see Drifter’s Restaurant and a grocery store on the right side of the highway).
  • Turn left at the first house, a big green farmhouse on the corner.
  • Welcome to Selkirk Wilderness Skiing!
