We had a group of 14 shredders up here for our last day of the season at SWS. Conditions were EPIC for late March. Blower powder at higher elevations and soft and buttery everywhere in between. Even as I type in the last report up here at the lodge, it’s literally “barfing snow” outside - wow, could we ask for a better day to wrap up on! We are lucky up here on Meadow Mountain!
Thanks to everyone for the good times, big jumps, little jumps, tomohawks, yard sales, short & long stories, games of crud, and laughs all around! We wish you a stellar summer and we looking forward to sharing some of our secret stashes with you all next season.

12 O’Clock High is one of the many bowls with an alpine start into open tree line for a finish. There are 2 main lines. The more spectacular is what is called the “hourglass slope” which looks just like that. It starts out as a wide open bowl and constricts midslope between two lightly treed ribs, opening once again onto a little plateau where you can look back up at your timely tracks. Tail guide hint… sneek into that rib on the right for an exciting ride.
