We had a group of 14 shredders up here for our last day of the season at SWS. Conditions were EPIC for late March. Blower powder at higher elevations and soft and buttery everywhere in between. Even as I type in the last report up here at the lodge, it’s literally “barfing snow” outside - wow, could we ask for a better day to wrap up on! We are lucky up here on Meadow Mountain!
Thanks to everyone for the good times, big jumps, little jumps, tomohawks, yard sales, short & long stories, games of crud, and laughs all around! We wish you a stellar summer and we looking forward to sharing some of our secret stashes with you all next season.

Be Inspired | join us this winter for a classic Kooteney experience
One of several below treeline runs fed by John Bowl, this run got its name from a small steep micro-bowl hidden in the forest. Once beyond the micro bowl, the steep open trees are broken by a series of small benches which break up the freefall skiing allowing you to catch your breath for only a moment, before the next breathless plunge. OMG; chew the mouthful of snow or spit it out, think fast because there is another one coming.
