SWS Runs of the day

Gauntlet and Gallows

Two wildly fun couloirs dropping north off the Rolling Thunder ridge into Thunder Bowl.  These runs only see skier traffic when snow conditions and group enthusiasm permit.  Both of these lines start out steep and narrow and by mid slope they are still steep but not so narrow.  The lower part widens substantially and the pitch mellows as the line blends into the bowl.  Dine dry powder can be found in here even late in the season.
