Sparkie’s Ridge

Forming the southeast flank of Desperado Bowl, Sparkie’s Ridge covers the range from unskiable cliffs to moderate pitches with wide open trees. It is an exciting east to northeast start to the remainder of Renegade Ridge which is generally mellow east facing slopes from low tree line into below tree line and old logged areas. The snow is protected from the offending sun by aspect and the low angle east facing slopes. The crispy dry snow on the lower slopes allow for effortless cruising through the rolley polley beebops down to the snowcat pickup.
